The majority of our classes have only 5 students and often the tutor is accompanied by a highly trained assistant.

COVID-19 update: We are very pleased to be able to resume our outdoor craft courses – for your safety we are operating with smaller group sizes and dedicated work areas for each student (and tool pack / PPE where required) a welfare space and as always expert tuition and an all important outdoor fire – all ensuring a great woodland experience for everyone! At present all our teaching is outdoors.
Set in a beautiful ancient woodland, our traditional skills and heritage craft courses are inspired by nature. Our friendly craftspeople will guide you with their knowledge of age-old methods and natural materials to learn, make new friends and create!

Our courses are suitable for all abilities and we offer advanced courses for those who want to take their skills a little further. Although our courses are for adults aged 18 years and over, we do feature family workshops for young people throughout the year.
