Make your own Christmas crafts
This course will provide you with all the materials, tools and information to create your own Christmas decorations and crafts. Learn how to manipulate willow to create tree hangings and tea light holders, learn how to carve a flower, make a Christmas tree out of hazel, create mini reindeer, woodland elves or tree decorations.
Choose a selection of these projects to create and take home to give as Christmas gifts or for yourself!
This course is taught in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere by Nadine Grundy who has over 15 years experience teaching art, crafts and woodwork. Visit her website on www.greenfoxwildcrafts.co.uk.
All the wood is sourced locally from Ecclesall Woods and is cut as part of their normal woodland management.
- Learn to use a brace and bit to create holes in wood without power.
- Learn to use a shavehorse, a traditional woodland clamp and a drawknife to create a flower.
- Learn to manipulate willow to create Christmas decorations
- Learn to use a knife to create elf hats!
- Get arty and create your own tree decorations!!
Arrive: 15 minutes prior to a 9.30am start
Depart: 3.30pm, although this is approximate.
