Weaving and basket making for kids (8+) - £35

Willow is an amazingly pliable and versatile material and can be made into all sorts of products from baskets to sculptures!
We will begin by making a woven star to hang as a mobile or a Christmas decoration moving onto a basket once we have got the hang of weaving!
Learn how to create a frame for your weaving and how to manipulate natural willow to create your own woodland basket.
The course is run in a friendly and relaxed environment by Nadine Grundy, who has been qualified in teaching art and crafts in schools and workshops for thirteen years and is also a forest school instructor.
Refundable up to two weeks prior to course (minus £5 admin fee) No refunds for cancellations within two weeks of course.
All materials and tools are provided for you on the day. You will need to bring a packed lunch - drinks are provided! wear suitable clothes for working outdoors.
