Tool Sharpening - £65

18th October 9:30am-4pm

There is no better way to get in touch with the heritage of Sheffield and its great tradition of steel blade making than learning to sharpen your own tools effectively.

Did you know that many tools are sold blunt?

Spend the day learning a number of techniques using various sharpening equipment for green woodworking tools, ie axes, drawknives, billhooks, turning tools, chisels, slashers in the lovely surroundings of Ecclesall Woods.

If you are new to Greenwood craft this will be a very interesting course and is fundamental to effective green woodworking.

If you have tools which are giving you problems – bring 1 or 2 of them along for Dave to look over - he will either help you get them sharp or advise you what to do.
