Tool Sharpening

Learn to sharpen tools to be as effective as possible - did you know that many tools are sold blunt?
Tool sharpening for green woodworking tools, ie axes, drawknives, billhooks, turning tools, chisels, slashers.
Spend the day learning a number of techniques using various sharpening equipment in the lovely surroundings of Ecclesall Woods Sawmill.
If you are new to Greenwood craft this will be a very interesting course and is fundamental to effective green woodworking.
If you have tools which are giving you problems - bring them along for Dave to look over - he will either help you get them sharp or advise you what to do. (please restrict to 2/3 tools as you will only realistically have time to work on a couple of tools)

All materials and tools are provided for you on the day. You will need to bring a packed lunch - drinks are provided! wear suitable clothes for working outdoors.
