Make a Shave Horse [2 day course]

Start off your green wood workshop by building an essential tool.

A good introduction to green woodworking and many of the processes and tools used, plus you get to take home your own shave horse for using on your own projects at home.

A shave horse is an indispensable tool for many green woodworking projects and the making of one will introduce you to lots of different techniques.

Learn to:

Select wood for projects , split green wood with axes and wedges, use a side axe to rough out shapes and use a drawknife to shape split wood.

You will also learn to make mortice and tenon joints.
